About Us
CAP formed during the COVID-19 pandemic crisis in response to an ongoing need for cultural responsiveness and inclusion in public health. The pandemic created an urgent need to communicate more frequently and effectively to all MV island residents.
To respond to this essential need, a community based partnership was developed in April of 2020. The Communication Ambassador Partnership (CAP) is an interagency collaboration that coordinates bidirectional communication with the Brazilian Portuguese speaking community on Martha’s Vineyard.
In September of 2022 CAP MVY became a non-profit organization and a 501(c)3.
